Luke 13:12
But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.”
I KNOW MOST OF US ALMOST ALWAYS GET HUNG UP ON THE LAST PART OF THIS PASSAGE;
WE ARE QUICK TO RESPOND TO THE LAST PART, BECAUSE IT SPEAKS OF THE DELIVERANCE WE NEED, THE HEALING WE CRY OUT FOR, THE PROVISION WE DESPERATELY SEEK, THE MEETING OF OUR NEED...AND THE LIKE.
I WANT US TODAY TO CONSIDER JESUS' REQUEST BEFORE HE SPEAKS LIFE INTO THIS WOMAN'S SITUATION... THE PART OF THE TEXT WE ALWAYS CRUISE OVER WITH VERY LITTLE REGARD... "... He called her to Him..."
GOD IS SAYING,
THE INFIRMITY, THE STRUGGLE, THE BATTLE, THE SITUATION, THAT'S BEEN HOLDING YOU BACK FROM GETTING YOURSELF BACK UP, AS WAS THE CASE WITH THIS WOMAN (v11 - "...and could in no way raise herself up..."); THE STUFF THAT KEEPS YOU AWAKE AT NIGHT, AND AT TIMES WITH TEARS FLOODING YOUR EYES; THE THING THAT YOU'VE BEEN STRUGGLING WITH FOR SO LONG...
GOD SAYS ALL THAT IS NEEDED IS YOUR RESPONSE TO HIS CALL
HE NEEDS YOUR YES; HE AWAITS YOUR 'I AM WILLING'; THIS IS THE STEP YOU NEED TO GET TO THE LAST PART, WHICH IS THE MANIFESTATION OF HIS GOODNESS; THE HEALING; THE DELIVERANCE; THE RESTORATION...
HE CALLED HER TO HIM... BEFORE HE SPOKE A WORD OF RESTORATION
WHAT WILL YOUR RESPONSE BE?
REMEMBER, YOUR STRAIGHTENING, YOUR RESTORATION DEPENDS ON IT.

POWER TO BREACH
GENESIS 38:27-29
Now it came to pass, at the time for giving birth, that behold, twins were in her womb. And so it was, when she was giving birth, that the one put out his hand; and the midwife took a scarlet thread and bound it on his hand, saying, “This one came out first.”
Then it happened, as he drew back his hand, that his brother came out unexpectedly; and she said, “How did you break through? This breach be upon you!” Therefore his name was called Perez.
It is not uncommon that at times we find ourselves wearing scarlet threads from our environment and situation, which label and/or make us believe that there is no way out of where we are; life does not get better; our circumstance is here to stay. We find ourselves believing what society and the world has labelled us to be. We look and see others wearing better tags (scarlet threads) than the ones we have on; We lose ourselves to what we have been tamed to become, just as wild animals in a circus. We lose the very thing that makes us who we were made to be. WE ARE CAUGHT IN SCARLET THREADING.
But God says...
Right now I'm about to do SOMETHING UNEXPECTED... I will cause BREACHING POWER to emerge from within you;
A power that will cause those that have labelled you otherwise to wonder and ask "how did you break through?"
I will cause the scarlet thread to bear no meaning and have no hold over your life;
Resurrection power is about to break you free and bring you back to life;
You will be called PEREZ, for an unexpected break through kind of power is about to overtake you.
YOU SHALL BE FIRST, EVEN THOUGH THEY LABELLED YOU LAST!!!
